Room to Read is SCBWI Australia and New Zealand’s charity. Why? SCBWI is international. Room to Read is international. SCBWI supports education for children in the developing world and Room to Read supports education for children in the developing world.
Room to Read has reached more than 16 million children in Asia and Africa with literacy, books and gender equality education.
We are holding an AUCTION during the Conference … you will have the opportunity to bid for artwork done by some of Australia’s top children’s illustrators. All money we raise will go towards sending girls to school in underdeveloped countries. Let’s do it!
It only costs $365 to pay for one girl to have one year of education.
